All About Cheryl:
Cheryl grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. However, as an adult, she has had many adventures living in various states throughout the country. She recently moved to North Dakota with her husband and 5 of her 6 children.
She loves to have fun and be silly. Of course, she has her serious side too, but loves it best when she gets to be crazy with her family and friends.
She loves creative writing and she loves to read! She considers the stories she has read to be a lifeline to the imaginary world, during what she considers, a "very lonely and trial filled" time in her life; each one inspiring her heart at just the right moment. To all the authors of all the books she's ever read and holds dear to her heart, she offers a heartfelt, "Thank you!"
Cheryl's Mission Statement:
"...I've been writing for years. Mostly inspirational poetry that I would give to family and friends on special occasions. But that too, I would keep hidden, except to the receivers. I know you are not supposed to keep talents hidden. I know that as you develop those talents, more [talents] will be added upon you. I also know that if you hide them, you will lose them. I've come to realize that I can no longer keep this hidden....
My hope is that through my writings and more importantly through the example that I set, people will see into my heart and feel what I feel. That I have a story to tell. That I've had real life experiences just like anyone else, and then I want to share what I've learned with others. Share everything, pain, sorrow, joy, laughter, redeeming love, so on and so forth. I want to be considered an inspirational author...
The most important thing I want to happen is that readers for one, feel my writings are believable. But most importantly, they feel the spirit touching their hearts and because of that, they walk away after reading one of my writings, a stronger, better person with a changed heart and a changed spirit...changed for the better. That perhaps a desire will ignite to become a better people. That is MY goal in life and what I feel is MY mission."
