Bryan was still trying to find a nice shirt to wear when the doorbell rang. He wasn’t sure what to expect when he answered the front door, but he was certain that this dark haired girl standing on his front porch, wasn’t it. Her head was turned to the side as she watched the little neighbor girl play and when she turned to face him; it was as if his brain cells quit working. For a guy who liked to talk a lot, he suddenly didn’t know what to say.
Lisa couldn’t keep from smiling as she watched Bryan’s reaction to Jessica. “Hi Bryan, how are you?” she asked. She then turned toward Jessica to make the introductions. “Jessie, this is Bryan. Bryan, this is Jessie.”
Bryan tried to regain his composure as he shook her hand, but was failing miserably. “Uh…hi…nice to meet you…Jessie,” he greeted, unable to keep his eyes off her. WOW! he thought to himself. Lisa cleared her throat bringing him back to reality. “Oh! Yeah…right. Sorry Ladies, please come in.” He wanted to die right there on the spot. He was making a complete idiot of himself!
